Not sure how this works or who would be interested in reading these ramblings but here goes...
This year I am turning 50
Actually in 54 days - 7hr., 29min. and 8 seconds.
Am I looking forward to it - NO! Actually I'm just in disbelief that it's here. Like everyone else will say... I don't feel it, I don't look it (yes I stay away from mirrors or windows that might cast an image).
Here are the issues as I see it
- This year I have developed some breathing problem - alergy related I think - need to see the doctor about this one and of course do the whole "your and old man medical review" get on that routine all the media spouts about, like an old car I have to have some routine check-ups to keep the engine going.
- Weight - oh it's a big one, of course I'm a big boy! Got to get a grip on that!
The 40's have brought me contacts. What will the 50's hold?
Family:
Mom's still going strong at 80 this year, shhhhh big surprise party for her in June. she's come a long way and we are going to celebrate. We lost the love of her life in 1989. She had been married to my dad since she was 14. producing two kids... me and of course my Brother. Who by the way will also be celebrating my birthday by celebrating his. You see I was born on his eighth birthday so he will be turning 58. Coud you have a better present on your birthday than a little brother!
Well enough for now... who know's I may never write another blog but wanted to at least try it once
